Blogging 101 at LERA
I will be presenting Blogging 101 again, this time at the Land of Enchantment Romance Authors (LERA) meeting this Saturday, June 10. We will have lunch at 11 at the Boston Market at Academy Road and Wyoming Boulevard in Albuquerque. The LERA meeting will be one block east at the Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Academy and Moon. The meeting starts at noon and my presentation starts about 1 PM.
Blogging 101 is the presentation I made at Southwest Writers in February and includes:
Setting up an account in Blogger (Google's free blog service)
Choosing your blog server (yours or theirs)
Choosing a template (many choices, also free)
Allowing comments (it's not a blog without comments!)
Creating your first post
Other setup options
Editing the HTML (gasp!)
AdSense (making money with your blog)
Getting your blog noticed

Marianne's talk about blogging was great!!! This is the second time I heard her speak about blogging and I learned even more the second time.
Thanks for speaking for Land of Enchantment Romance Authors. Hopefully we'll all be blogging as well as writing romances. Your talk was very helpful and well done. Thanks again, sandy S
